Throne of Games? Video games fan from Bodmin builds chair from old cartridges

A man from Cornwall has combined his passion for video games and fantasy TV by building his own chair called 'Throne of Games'.
Adam Bate modelled his 6 foot seat on the imposing iron chair used by the King of the Andals in George R R Martin's epic series.
But rather then being forged from a thousand swords, Adam's towering furniture is made from 1,200 old Sega and Nintendo cartridges piled on top of one another.
Adam, of Bodmin, Cornwall, unveiled it on Facebook where users spotted many of their favourite titles, including Mario, Sonic, Pokemon and Zelda.
The 28-year-old, who runs his own online retro gaming shop, attracted dozens of likes and comments with his fantasy-inspired creation.
Adam isn't worried about damaging the games as the dated plastic cartridges can easily withstand his weight.
He said: "The throne is mainly comprised of retro games from the SNES, Gameboy, Sega Megadrive and a few other old-school consoles.
"There's a lot of classics in there like Goldeneye, Sonic, Mario and Zelda. They will be fine though, they're built to last, not like modern games."
Impressed Chris Souter wrote: "Looks pretty amazing Adam, plus I guess it gives you a way of hanging up your games and deciding which one to play next".
However Chris Jones moaned: "There's games there I need, and they have been used for this!!!"
