Two people were injured and taken to hospital following a crash near Holsworthy yesterday.
The man and woman were travelling in a white Mazda which overturned on the B3254 at Jewells Cross, near Bridgerule, at 7.50am.
Both casualties were trapped inside the vehicle and fire crews from Holsworthy and Bude helped to release them.
They were both taken to North Devon District Hospital with non-life threatening injuries – one was taken by air ambulance and the other by land ambulance.
The road was closed for an hour and reopened just before 9am.
