Nine people have been released on bail pending further investigation after raids across Cornwall. More than 80 police officers took part in early morning busts on Wednesday in a targeted operation against suspected drug dealers. Most of the raids took place in Bodmin, although operations were also staged in St Austell, Par, St Columb and St Ives. Seven men and four women were arrested for a range of offences, including supplying class A drugs, thought to be heroin. A 47-year-old man, from St Columb, was due in court yesterday while a 35-year-old man arrested in St Austell on suspicion of supplying heroin has been recalled to prison.
