Young children and their parents have been enjoying stunning autumnal scenery at a Devon estate.

A series of walking activities are taking place this weekend at Killerton near Exeter for the National Trust Great British Walk 2012.

Visitors can pick up woodland trails, walking maps and family stroll ideas from the discovery centre.

A mass buggy and toddler walk 45-minute pushchair stroll through the park and garden is also taking place tomorrow at 10.30am.

Helen Trebble, of Killerton's countryside team said: "Killerton offers 6,400 acres of outdoor space with a network of over 60 miles of footpaths, trails, permissive routes and public rights of way. One day is not enough to explore Killerton, so we are encouraging families to take themselves off into the great outdoors throughout our walking week. Simply follow one of our many way-marked routes for a walking adventure."

For more details and prices of guided walks call 01392 881345 or visit nationaltrust.org.uk/Killerton.
