'World's best' Take That tribute band to play Tiverton venue

WHAT is claimed to be the best Take That tribute band on the planet will perform at a Tiverton football club this month.

Rule the World will feature at Elmore’s Horsden Park on Saturday, May 17.

Club chairman Jed Hewitt, who is hoping to host a series of other revenue-boosting events in the future, said it was a boon to secure the act.

He said: “They are currently appearing at theatres up and down the country and we were lucky to book them.

“Even Gary Barlow has praised the quality of their performance.

“It is a must-see act and will rock the place. It is a ticket-only event and 150 have already been sold so don’t miss out.”

The act will play in a huge marquee on the pitch and are set to be supported by Tiverton band the Nameless Girl and Intersounds Roadshow.

The event. which will also feature a barbecue and a hog roast, will be open from 6.45pm and the first band is expected to appear between 8pm and 8.30pm.

Tickets cost £12.50 to over-17s only which are available from JT’s Party House, Bampton Street, Tiverton, or from the football club bar after 7pm on weekdays and from 11.30am until 11pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
