St Germanus church at Rame needs replacement ceiling bosses

Comments (0)

SIX ceiling bosses need replacing in the south aisle of the ancient and historic church of St Germanus in Rame, South East Cornwall.

And the church is calling on local experts to help restore it to its former glory.

Margaret Parker, who attends the church, explained: “If you are talented in designing and or wood carving and fitting then your expertise is much in need.

“In recent years the missing bosses have either fallen down and broken completely or been damaged.

“After the recent outstanding fund raising appeal, which raised over £100,000 in a year, the roof of this 13th century church has now been restored. It would, therefore, be appropriate to complete the project by replacing the missing bosses.”

If you can help contact Father Michael Brown on 01752 822264.
