Woman's body found after sea search

A woman's body has been recovered from the sea at Newquay, Cornwall, after a major search. A rescue operation was launched on Saturday night after the woman was reported missing. Coastguards, RNLI crews, police and the RNAS Culdrose rescue helicopter were all involved in the attempts to find the woman, believed to be in her mid to late 50s. The woman's car was understood to have been found at the car park at Pentire East. The coastguard spokesman said: "The casualty was found just off Baker's Folly on the Pentire headland side of Fistral."
