Devon singing sensation Luke Friend has been saved by the judges in the X Factor.
He was saved after the public vote saw him in the bottom two with singer Sam Callahan. Both were mentored by Louis Walsh.
Luke, who went to school at Coombeshead Academy, sang Elton John's Your Song on Saturday night.
But in the sing-off he chose U2's I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For as the song he thought would save him.
Louis Walsh abstained from voting, while judge Nicole Scherzinger said that Luke sang his heart out and she always 'connected' with him before sending Sam home.
Take That star Gary Barlow said Luke sang his heart out and that he loved his style before saving him.
Last weekend, for 'big band' week, the dread-locked singer performed Van Morrison's Moondance and got mixed reviews from the judges.
