A teenager has denied the murder of his grandfather in an attack at his home in Launceston.
Stephen Lang, 19, pleaded not guilty when he appeared at Exeter Crown Court.
Lang is accused of killing 91-year-old Thomas Lang, who was found with serious injuries after an alleged break-in at his home at Trecarn Close on April 17.
He suffered multiple fractures and was later pronounced dead at Derriford Hospital, Plymouth.
Lang, of Queen Elizabeth Road, Launceston, was remanded in custody and will now face a trial at Truro Crown Court next year, at a date which has yet to be fixed.
