More than £3,000 worth of items were stolen by burglars from business premises in Liskeard.

The theft took place between Thursday, September 27 and the following day at Lime Kiln House Furniture, although details have only just been released by the police.

Thieves got into the building by forcing open the front door, then stole a number of items, including wooden chests, antique clocks, a music box and two stuffed salmon in ornamental glass cases.

Police are asking anyone who was offered these types of goods for sale to contact them.
