Three second-half goals gave Bideford a superb 3-0 win at fellow Calor League play-off contenders Stourbridge this afternoon.
Matt Hockley gave the visitors the lead from the penalty spot when Will Richards was sent off for handling a shot by Nick Milton.
Craig Duff marked his return from suspension by doubling the lead with a cool left-foot finish.
And Kevin Squire capped an excellent team performance, turning in the third goal after a surging run from Ian Sampson.
After defending well in the first half, Bideford never looked back after taking the lead eight minutes after the break.
A delay following an injury to the referee threatened to halt their momentum and Stourbridge hit the bar soon after the game restarted with one of the assistant referees taking over in the middle.
But Duff scored the second and Stourbridge went to pieces at the back. They were fortunate not to lose by more as Duff struck a post and Squire shot wide.
Without the injured Sean Downing and Owen Howe, the win will give Bideford belief they can maintain their unexpected push for a play-off place.
They remain in fourth place but are now four points clear of St Albans City, in fifth, who drew 1-1 with St Neots Town today.
The Toolstation Western League games involving Ilfracombe Town and Barnstaple were postponed.
