Stoke still searching for first away victory

West Ham United and Stoke City stayed in their respective Premier League positions – seventh and 14th – following a 1-1 draw at Upton Park last night. Tony Pulis' side were chasing their first away win since January, and took a step towards securing it when Jonathan Walters gave them the lead after 12 minutes with what appeared to be a well-rehearsed set-piece move. But having reached half-time with their lead intact, Stoke were undone just two minutes into the second period when Joey O'Brien scored his first top-flight goal to earn West Ham a deserved share of the spoils.
