A school bus and a car collided on the A386 at Roborough this morning.

Police and paramedics were called to the scene outside the Moorland Garden Hotel at 8:06am.

A Volvo double decker Citybus carrying school children and a silver Peugeot 206 being driven by a woman in her 50s collided.

No injuries were reported, say police, and the road remained open to traffic while emergency services were on the scene.

Recovery of the vehicles is expected to take place by 9.45am.
