One of Truro’s most popular restaurants has been put up for sale as a going concern.
Bustophers on the city’s Lemon Street has established a strong reputation in the 12 years since Simon and Sue Hancock established it.
The day-to-day running of the business is overseen by manager Dan Bennett, who said that the venue had evolved a relaxed feel where customers can enjoy the food, rather than feel they have to dress for dinner. The speciality of the house is Peruvian sea food chowder.
Now, the Hancocks are looking towards retirement and have put the 110-cover venue – which was won three AA rosettes – on the market.
The business is being offered at a guide price of £895,000 through agent Scott Burridge Commercial.
