Police have set up a web link to an Aladdin's Cave of stolen jewellery in a bid to reunite them with their owners. It is thought the numerous items – including distinctive rings and watches – may have been stolen during burglaries or thefts in Devon and Cornwall. The appeal follows the arrest of a 57-year-old Exeter man in July on suspicion of handling stolen goods. Police have now posted an online gallery of the items at: www.flickr.com/photos/devon-cornwall-police/sets/72157631675356921/ PC Suzanne Vranch, of Exeter CID, said the jewellery may have been stolen at some point in the last year. "We are also keen to speak to anyone who may have had war medals and cap badges stolen as several items have also been recovered," she added.
