POLICE deployed a Taser to arrest three teenage boys after reports a teacher had been injured at a school near Plymouth and officers were confronted with knives.
Police were called to the school at around 9.20pm on December 1 following reports of an alleged assault on a member of staff.
It was alleged three boys were involved in the incident, which left a member of staff with injuries to his chest and head.
The alleged victim was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to Derriford Hospital by ambulance.
Police say officers deployed a Taser during the incident after reports knives were brandished at officers.
The three boys – a 15-year-old, and two 14-year-olds – were jointly charged with affray.
They will appear at Plymouth Magistrates Court on December 20.
