Pensioner dies of injuries after Kingsteignton crash

A 72-year-old motorcyclist seriously injured in a crash on Saturday has died, Devon and Cornwall Police said.

The man, who was riding a black Buell motorcycle, was fatally injured in the accident on the A380 at Eagle Farm, Kingsteignton, at 12.10pm.

A silver Audi A2 was also involved in the collision which happened as both travelled in the same direction.

The pensioner, who is from the Newton Abbot area, was taken to the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital for treatment. Police said he died earlier today.

The road was closed for two hours whilst specialist officers carried out an investigation. Police are appealing for any witnesses to the collision to contact them on 101.
