PLYMOUTH Raiders' Drew Lasker admitted the sell-out crowd inside the Pavilions gave them the energy to overcome Manchester Giants in double-overtime on Saturday night.
Raiders eventually prevailed 119-115 in an epic BBL Championship thriller.
The see-saw encounter swung this way and that all evening but Raiders eventually claimed victory after outscoring Giants 15-11 in the second extra frame.
After the match Lasker said: "Manchester are 10 times better than earlier in the season. It's a great win for us.
"Manchester were just on another level to us in the first half.
"We weren't playing well, but we said to each other at half-time, 'We're only down by five, we can be confident now'. We raised our game and came out with a win."
Lasker added: "It was rocking in here (in the Pavilions). Hopefully we can keep the crowds this big for the rest of the season. It definitely gives you an extra ounce of energy at the end."
