Demand has been strong for places at this year's English Beef and Lamb Executive annual conference which will showcase opportunities for beef and lamb in a changing global marketplace.

The event, to be held at Chesford Grange Hotel, Kenilworth, Warwickshire, on October 30, will bring together industry stakeholders and levy payers to discuss issues and identify ways of capitalising on trade opportunities.

Beef and Lamb All Party Parliamentary Group chairman and Tiverton and Honiton MP Neil Parish, pictured right, is due to speak on the Government's role in agriculture. Eblex sector director, Nick Allen, and head of trade development, Peter Hardwick, will examine the opportunities for beef and lamb, while livestock and climate change will come under the spotlight from Eblex industry development manager, Chris Lloyd.

More details on 0870 608 6610 or email conference2012@eblex.ahdb.org.uk. Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
