An elderly man has escaped serious injury after the car he was driving came to rest on its side in South Devon.

The dark green Rover Mini reportedly hit a kerb on the A381 outside the Denbury Diesels garage in Abbotskerswell at 11:15am today.

Police an ambulance have been called to the scene and are attending to a man believed to be in his 80s.

I did like the comment that its awaiting recovery, honestly, push it back on its wheels and drive it off. Hope the driver gets well soon.

I hope the driver is OK, but I hope he re-evaluates whether he should be still driving. Ironic that I comment on a post yesterday about this very topic: http://tinyurl.com/a46sm4y
