Open day at Exeter's Bramdean school

Exeter's Bramdean School is set to host an Open Day on Saturday, December  1, from 10am to 1pm for parents and children to meet teaching staff and have a tour of the facilities.

Bramdean was inspected over three days in September, on one day's notice, and was awarded six outstanding commendations: overall quality of education, how well pupils make progress in their learning, behaviour of pupils, how effective teaching and assessments are in meeting the full range of pupils' needs, quality of provision for pupils' spiritual, moral, social and cultural development, how well the curriculum and other activities meet the range of needs and interests of pupils.

The school is a non-selective, unique and distinctive school consistently achieving excellent exam results and with a fine sporting record.

Bursaries are available for children talented in the performing arts, sports, choral singing and academic studies.
