I seriously hope Mr Daley's tan is fake, otherwise he'll be made into a sofa by the time he's 30. I suppose bronze was a very appropriate medal.

well said everyone that helicopter was a total pain and how much to keep it in the air for a total waste of space of nonenities how much longer are we going to have to put up with this rubbish its time to move on now there are important things going on instead of this dribble

Okay, questions were asked in the council chamber regarding the cost to the taxpayer of the legal advice on the subject of the incinerator. I would like questions asked about the cost, to the taxpayer, of this ridiculous showboating. It would be different if Plymouth actually had a claim to a gold but all this does is to illustrate the desperation of this town to be up there with the grown up cities. It is pathetic.

Also that hero word is being thrown around and misused again!

So we're celebrating a bronze and gold for someone who didn't represent Great Britain? Seems like a waste of resources which could be better employed elsewhere.
