NORTH Devon will remember its fallen soldiers next month, when the Queen's Theatre hosts the 18th annual North Devon Festival of Remembrance Concert.
The concert, which is held in support of ABF the Soldiers' Charity and the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal, will take place on November 4 at 2.30pm to remember those who fought and died during both World Wars and other more recent conflicts.
The Concert will also commemorate the 30th Anniversary of the Falklands War, in which 255 British Military personnel and 14 British Merchant Seamen lost their lives.
The Concert, to be presented by BBC Radio Devon's John Coates, will feature The Salamanca Band and Bugles of the Rifles, the North Devon Pipes and Drums, the Military Wives Choir from Chivenor, and the
Barnstaple Youth Marching Band.
The Service and Act of Remembrance will be conducted by the Archdeacon of Barnstaple, the Venerable David Gunn-Johnson.
Tickets, from £11, are available from the theatre's box office on 01271 323242, or online via the North Devon Theatres Trust website.
