A motorist was taken to hospital by an air ambulance after a crash on the A3072 at Holsworthy left a car on its roof.
Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue Service received a call about the traffic collision during Saturday afternoon.
A fire appliance from Holsworthy and two from Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service, Bude and Bodmin, were mobilised and sent to to the incident. RAF Chivenor were also in attendance.
When the crews arrived, they found that a vehicle had been involved in a collision and was on its roof.
Two casualties had been released from the vehicle prior to the fire service's arrival, but there was a further casualty still within the vehicle.
Using small tools, the crews released the casualty from the vehicle.
One casualty was then relayed to hospital by air ambulance and another by RAF Chivenor.
