Celebrity chef Michael Caines has maintained his position as one of the country's finest, after his restaurant was named as the best in the South West.
Gidleigh Park, near Chagford, was named the best restaurant for food in the region in The Sunday Times food list.
The Devon eaterie is second overall all in this year's top 100, after finishing third last year.
Surrounded by ancient hills and woodlands on the edge of Dartmoor, Michael Caines' famous establishment has retained two Michelin stars for 14 years.
Michael Caines, MBE, said: "We are thrilled to have been named the best restaurant for food in the South West in this year's The Sunday Times Food List, and even more so to have come second overall in the Top 100.
"In the three years the list has been running we are delighted to have featured within the top three which is a true testament to the team and all the hard work they put in to constantly deliver a high level of service.
"We pride ourselves on creating a memorable experience and it's great to be so highly acknowledged by the people who eat there."
The second best restaurant in the South West was Nathan Outlaw in Rock, which was ranked 34th place nationally. Mr Outlaw set up his fish restaurant at Cornwall's St Enodoc Hotel in 2010. It is known for its intimate feel as the dining room has just ten tables.

The Sunday Times food list, published in full on Sunday, ranks Britain's top 100 restaurants based on food quality. The most expensive establishment on the list is the Fat Duck in Bray with an average price of £221 per person.
