A date has been set for the trial of two men who are accused of carrying out a £200,000 Rolex raid in the centre of Exeter.

Police are still hunting two others in connection with the alleged robbery at Ernest Jones in Exeter High Street in February in which around 30 valuable watches were snatched. Robert O'Connor, aged 28, from Harpenden, Hertfordshire, and Alistair McWilliams, aged 27, from London, have both been remanded in custody to await trial on November 4.

The two men have appeared at separate hearings at Exeter Crown Court, but will be in the dock together for a plea and case management hearing in June. O'Connor made no plea when he made a brief preliminary hearing before the Recorder of the City of Exeter Judge Francis Gilbert, QC.

The two men are accused of an early morning armed raid on Ernest Jones on February 11 this year in which 30 watches worth £209,000 were allegedly taken.
