A man was in police custody after he allegedly left the scene of a three-vehicle crash in Paignton, say police.

A Jaguar S-Type is reported to have hit a Vauxhall Corsa which was parked on Ramshill Road in Paignton.

It then hit a parked van and carried on into the front garden of a house, stopping when it struck a boundary wall in the garden.

One fire crew from Paignton attended the incident on Tuesday afternoon after a request from the ambulance station to attend.
