South-West-based dealer group, Vospers, is proud to announce the arrival of the Chrysler and Jeep brands to its Exeter showroom in Honiton Road.

The vehicle line up includes the award winning 300C executive saloon, flagship of the resurgent Chrysler brand, and Jeep Grand Cherokee 4x4, the luxury off-roader which was crowned 4x4 of the Year in 2011 by Total 4x4 magazine.

The stunning new Chrysler 300C, proud possessor of a hatful of awards since its US launch at the Detroit Auto Show in 2011, is available in two diesel-powered versions and will deliver European-style quality and finesse, coupled with American-style comfort and high levels of equipment as standard.

The four-door car represents outstanding value for money and positions the 300C among its benchmark rivals in the competitive top-line luxury sector of the market with features such as adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring system, forward collision warning, keyless entry, powered rear sunshade, and heated and ventilated front Nappa leather seats among its many standard features in the top of the range Executive model.

Available with a 3.0-litre V6 diesel engine producing 236bhp and 540Nm of torque, the new 300C will return 39.8 mpg (Combined) fuel economy and has a CO2 figure of 191-185 g/km depending on wheel size.

The side profile of the new 300C features the distinctive proportions of its popular predecessor, but with added refinement and a more tailored appearance.

The car has the largest standard colour touch screen display at 8.5 inches and the largest sunroof in its segment, and is also one of the quietest vehicles available.

With an emphasis on safety and comfort, standard equipment on the entry-level Limited version includes heated front and rear seats, load levelling suspension and height control, LED daytime running lamps, electronic stability control (ESC), hill start assist, active head restraints, and curtain, side, front and rear airbags.

The Chrysler range also includes the frugal Ypsilon five-door city car offering up to 74.3mpg and tax-free driving with emissions as low as 97g/km; the Chrysler Delta family hatchback noted to be the most spacious car in its class with a range of fuel efficient engines and the Chrysler Grand Voyager … the world's best-selling MPV with 13 million sold over 25 years. It has seven seats and plenty of luggage space to boot with exclusive Stow 'n Go® seating.

The 300C's luxury Jeep stablemate, the Grand Cherokee is also a multi award winner, with more than 30 international accolades from an array of opinion-leading organisations, this latest version is one of the most awarded SUVs ever.

And with an impressive features list and more refinement than ever before, it's no surprise that the 2,987cc V6 turbo diesel Grand Cherokee is top choice again.

The car's comfort, equipment and technology are praised from the Total 4x4 judging panel, and a special mention is made of the car's practicality.

"It's good value by the standards of its competitors," says Alan Kidd, editor, Total 4x4. "And there's little at this price that does such a good job of combining comfort, equipment, dynamic prowess and relevant technology.

"There have been four Grand Cherokees over the years and each one has improved on the last," adds Alan. "But this time the step up has been off the scale. It's a very worthy winner."

The Grand Cherokee also won the Awards' Off-Roader category.

"Any award recognising our products is welcome, but to get the top prize is very good news," says Nigel Land, brand director, Jeep & Chrysler UK. "We're proud of what Grand Cherokee has achieved."

The Jeep Grand Cherokee range comes with a 3.0 V6 diesel-powered engine, producing 237bhp and 550Nm of torque, and returns 34 mpg (Combined) with a CO2 figure of 218 g/km. There is also the SRT8 performance model powered by a 6.4 litre HEMI engine that reaches 0-62mph in around five seconds.

Just launched is the S-Limited model that features 20ins Alloy wheels in high gloss black, Harman-Kardon® Audio System with 19 speakers and an 825 watt amplifier, Uconnect® Navigation system, Blind-Spot monitoring and rear Cross-Path detection and Quadra-Lift™ Air suspension.

In addition to the outstanding Grand Cherokee, there's the compact Compass model with an option of petrol (manual or automatic) or diesel engines and of course, the legendary Wrangler which comes in two or four door options with a 2.8 litre CRD automatic engine.
