A bungalow in North Devon was badly damaged in a fire which broke out on Christmas Day.
Firefighters from Holsworthy, Torrington and Hatherleigh were sent to the blaze at South Wonford, Thornbury, just before 7.30pm.
Crews arrived a short time later to find the blaze had started in the kitchen of the bungalow.
Two firefighters wearing breathing sets tackled the fire using a hose reel jet. No-one was injured.
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said about half of the property had suffered smoke damage.
The cause of the fire is not known.
