Fascinating Aida, Princes Theatre, Torquay, Wednesday, April 2; Hall for Cornwall, Thursday, April 3

Satirical cabaret trio Fascinating Aida, have been sharing their unique brand of risque wit with audiences for more than 30 years. This latest show is called Charm Offensive – a title to be taken literally. The ensemble is still led by piano-playing Dillie Keane who kicked things off in 1983. She is currently joined by Adele Anderson, who joined a year later, and recent recruit soprano Liza Pulman. Expect irreverent musical observations dissecting all things middle-class and such pressing topics as school Ofsted inspections, dogging, boomerang kids or our appetite for Scandinavian crime fiction.
