TOMORROW night's Toolstation Western League game between Ilfracombe Town and Willand Rovers has been postponed because of a problem with the floodlights at Marlborough Park.

The club reported that water had got into a number of the bulbs, which are now not working, and the strong wind has stopped engineers from making repairs.

Six out of Ilfracombe's last eight home fixtures have been postponed, with the recent wet weather and snow to blame on the previous occasions.

They did manage to play on Saturday, however, when Shaun Lewis's goal gave Combe a 1-0 win over Longwell Green Sports. Defender James Mayne suffered a suspected broken cheekbone in the match.
