Hoodie robbers attack man on way to bank

A man was robbed in broad daylight as he was making his way to a Torquay bank. Police said the 31-year-old was attacked by two men on Hartop Road as he went to pay money in on Monday. The pair grabbed a carrier bag containing the money and punched the victim to the ground, causing him injuries which required treatment at Torbay Hospital. Police say the incident happened between 12.30pm and 1pm at the junction of Cambridge Road and Hartop Road. The robbers were described as both wearing dark coloured hooded tops, waterproof jackets and jeans.
