Christmas commercialism mixed happily with the traditional Christian message in Exeter’s High Street.
As the city Nativity Procession wended its way along High Street to Exeter Cathedral it passed the iconic, big red Coca-Cola Christmas truck parked up in Bedford Square.
The Christmas truck – which has gained a cult following thanks to the beverage company’s Yuletide adverts – is mid-way through a tour of the UK and is making the Exeter stop on its only visit to Devon and Cornwall this year.
It spent most of Sunday in Exeter attracting bumper crowds.
Visitors were invited to have their pictures taken next to the illuminated truck and festive helpers were on hand to serve chilled fizzy drinks.
