TV presenter Fern Britton, who started her broadcasting career in the Westcountry, is among the line-up for this year's Strictly Come Dancing.
Fern, who presented This Morning and Ready Steady Cook, started out at Westward in Plymouth in 1979. She stayed with the ITV company until 1981 and then moved to Spotlight in Plymouth on BBC, before moving to replace Selina Scott on national TV later in the 80s.
Fern will take part in the BBC1 show, in which celebrities dance with professional partners, from Saturday.
