England Women face India at Truro tomorrow hoping to level their five match One Day International series.
India beat their hosts by five wickets in the series opener at Lord's on Sunday and extended their lead when they triumphed at the County Ground in Taunton on Wednesday.
However, England bounced back strongly on Thursday to win by three wickets which means that there is all to play for with two games left in the Nat West series of ODIs.
The game at Boscawen Park will make history because it is the first time that the England Women have played an international match in Cornwall.
Looking ahead to the game, England captain Charlotte Edwards, who visited the Duchy in recent months in her capacity as Chance to Shine Ambassador, said: "We are all very excited about playing at Truro, where I spent some time recently.
"I know they are going to make us very welcome and put on a fantastic event for us so hopefully we can play some good cricket and level the series which will be great for the Cornish people."
To ensure that the festival offers something for the whole family, the Cornish Sporting Club has arranged for the Searchlight Theatre Company to entertain the crowds in between play for the international match.
Alan George, from the Cornish Sporting Club, said: "With the addition of the Searchlight Theatre Company we think the Teddington Solar 2012 Cornish Cricket Festival will be a complete day out for families.
"After months of planning it is really exciting to think that the festival will soon be played out. It's been a lot of hard work, but great fun, and we're now hoping that the sun will come out and shine for us." A star-studded sporting dinner is also being held tomorrow, with special guests including former England rugby union captain and Leicester Tigers legend Lewis Moody, along with the former Charlton Athletic manager Alan Curbishley.
The 50 over game between England Women and India starts at 10.45am with entry costing £10 per adult and £5 per child or £20 per family of four, based on two adults and two children.
Tickets can be purchased by logging on to www.cornishcricketfestival.co.uk or by calling 0844 811 6800 and collected at the turnstiles on the day.
