Kind-hearted Echo readers have come forward to help save Christmas for a single mother and her three year old son who saw their Christmas presents taken when burglars raided their St Thomas home.

Festive food, sweets and even a mini-Christmas tree have been donated by readers and passed on to Kerry Saunders,32, and her son Austen.

Kerry said: "I want to thank everyone who has helped in this difficult time."
