A woman escaped serious injury after the car she was driving flipped over four times after sliding on mud. Police were called to the A3124 in North Tawton at 9.50am yesterday. Officers said they found a silver Vauxhall Astra had rolled over several times after skidding on a patch of mud. The car came to rest at the junction to the A3124 and the road was closed. Devon and Cornwall Police said the woman was shaken and shocked but appeared to have no visible injuries. Paramedics took her to North Devon Hospital as a precaution.
