Milk Link's former corporate affairs director has launched his own communications consultancy.
Will Sanderson, who joined the Milk Link in 2004, played a role in its transition to become a £600 million business and helped oversee its October merger with Arla Foods.
Prior to relocating to the Westcountry, Mr Sanderson worked with a top London-based consultancy, with a portfolio comprising major corporate plcs and government departments.
The first client on Sanderson Communications' books is Crediton Dairy. Former Milk Link chief executive Neil Kennedy and group finance director Tim Smiddy announced their acquisition of the Mid-Devon business last month, in a move subject to final approval by the European Commission. An announcement is anticipated within the next few weeks.
Mr Sanderson, who is currently in talks with a number of other client leads, says the focus of his new business will be upon business-to-business and corporate communications, as well as food, farm and dairy.
He said: "Although I have a strong background in dairy, food and farming I will also draw upon over 20 years' experience in advising senior decision makers, major businesses and industry organisations."
