City College Plymouth will host a special presentation event tomorrow, to celebrate an Association of Colleges' Beacon Award win.
The college was announced as an award winner in the category for widening participation among young people aged 14-19, at a ceremony in London last month.
It won the award for its long standing project which offers a range of pre-enrolment programmes for young people who are not in employment, education or training.
Tomorrow's event will be attended by representatives from the local business community, Plymouth's Lord and Lady Mayoress, MPs and councillors.
The award will be presented by the AoC's regional director, Ian Munroe.
Guests will also hear from two College students, who will describe first-hand how the College helped them turn their lives around and successfully gain employment.
College principal, Phil Davies, said: "This award celebrates the great work of the College and the tremendous partnerships that we have developed across the city over the last few years."
