The coastguard was called out to Teignmouth to warn a group of youngsters to stay out of the high waves.

A member of the public called the coastguard fearing for their safety as they were 'wave dodging' near the old light house at lunchtime

A spokesman for Brixham coastguard said: 'They were given safety advice.'

So if the coastguard don't want us to dodge waves do they actually want us to get hit by waves. This is elf and safety political correctness goooorn mad. Don't listen to the coastguard, keep out of the way of waves. This is madness, madness I say.

Castle Circus is a little far inland to be of concern to the coastguards, don't you think? The clue is in the name COAST guards.

Try calling the authorities if you witness anti social behaviour, crime, violent crime, drug dealing around castle circus, unacceptable noise levels, car vandalism, dog poo on the streets, violence on the streets, a drunk comatose in front of Torquay town hall - little interest. BUT WAIT FOR IT. Wave dodging - instant response. The authorities only respond quicker to parking offences.
