Chilly start for Wednesday with more sunshine forecast for Devon and Cornwall

A cool, cloudy start is forecast for Wednesday with sunny spells and warmer weather later on.

Early mist is likely to clear leaving sunny skies for most of the region with some cloud still possible in around some exposed southern and western coasts. making it feel a little cooler.

Temperatures are likely to hit a high of 14c.

It will be a clear and chilly evening, with some low cloud, and patches of mist and fog later tonight.

A touch of frost is likely with a minimum temperature of 2°C.

The mist and fog could hang around until Thursday morning, however warm sunshine is likely later on bringing temperatures up to a maximum of 14°C.
