TOUR: Chelsea pensioners William Miles, Wayne Campbell, Wally Topper and Ken Rogers at Stonehouse Barracks
A GROUP of Chelsea pensioners have enjoyed a whistle-stop tour of Plymouth.
The pensioners were special guests at the Remembrance Festival which was organised by the Federation of Plymouth and District Ex Services Association.
During a two-day stop over in the city the four pensioners were put up by 3 Commando Brigade at Stonehouse Barracks.
As well as appearing at the remembrance event, they also enjoyed a historical tour of the barracks.
"They thoroughly enjoyed their visit," said Colour Sergeant Gary Chapman, who is mess manager at Stonehouse Barracks.
"They mingled with the officers and enjoyed a historical tour of the barracks.
"We were delighted to host them."
