The 2013 Cornwall Ladies amateur golf championships will take place at Camborne's Tehidy Park parkland course from April 17-21.

The defending individual champion will be Cornwall amateur ace Sarah-Jane Boyd – the reigning Ladies British Open Amateur Stroke Play champion and 2012 South West Amateur women's champion.

Truro's Boyd, 20, has already won the county championship title four times and will be the favourite to complete a hat-trick following her success at West Cornwall this year and her 2011 win.

The 2014 Cornwall ladies championship has already been scheduled to take place at Bude and North Cornwall.

The county championship will precede the first round of the popular inter-club Gammon Trophy, which tees off on Sunday, May 3.

Tehidy Park will play West Cornwall and St Mellion meet Carlyon Bay in the first round before the draw goes into a last-16 format for a place in the July 14 quarter-finals.

Holders St Enodoc, who beat Trevose 5-2 in last summer's final, will play Bude and North Cornwall in next year's second round on Sunday, June 2. Trevose have been drawn to play Perrannporth.

2013 Gammon Trophy second round (Sunday, June 2): Falmouth v Killiow, St Enodoc v Bude and North Cornwall, Truro v Looe, Newquay v Tehidy Park or West Cornwall, St Mellion or Carlyon Bay v Porthpean, Perranporth v Trevose, Launceston v China Fleet, Mullion v St Austell.

The 2013 Devon Ladies' golf championships will take place at Tiverton Golf Club from May 10-12, followed by a first-team friendly against cross-Tamar rivals Cornwall at Woodbury Park on Sunday, May 19.

Tiverton is set to host the English Girls' Under-15 and Under-13 Open Amateur Stroke Play Championships from Tuesday, July 30, until Thursday, August 1, at the same time as the three-day Under-18 English Girls' Open Amateur Stroke Play Championship takes place at Oake Manor, Taunton.

Devon and Cornwall warm up for a big season of girls' golf in the region with a match at Launceston Golf Club on Monday, February 18.

Devon County Ladies Golf Association will hold its annual meeting at Exeter Golf and Country Club on Friday, January 25.

Devon County Golf Union's annual council meeting is a fixture for Fingle Glen today, starting at 2.30pm.
