A fire wrecked two cars parked close to each other yesterday morning. The fire service was called to Warberry Road, Ellacombe, in Torquay at 1.30am after receiving calls about the blaze. One crew from the town's fire station attended the scene but was forced to request backup. An investigation has begun.
