A Devon town is hosting an exhibition to showcase black, white and monochrome photographs to the public.

Prints from Exeter Camera Club's BMW Group are on display this month at the Café in Topsham.

The exhibition will show how the photographers view the world around them through a combination of traditional and contemporary black and white pictures.

Sandra Barrett, exhibition coordinator, said the 30 group members worked together to develop their skills and understanding of this style of photography.

Ms Barrett said they applied a range of different techniques to experiment and improve.

She added: "The key element of their approach to photography is to view their work through the black and white medium which has a distinct impact."
