The Torbay RNLI station at Brixham was kept busy on Sunday morning, with two callouts.

At around 3am the RNLI was called to the aid of a fisherman whose gear had become tangled in the propulsion system, off Paignton Pier.  Two RNLI vessels were involved in the rescue. The man was safely transferred onto one of the vessels and the other then towed the boat, which had capsized after the incident, into harbour.

Then, at around 9am, RNLI Torbay were alerted to reports of a man who had gone missing from Landscove Holiday Park, at Brixham. The lifeboat searched the shore close to the holiday park. He was soon found, safe and well, on land.
