BRITAIN'S Got Talent is coming to Plymouth.

Open auditions for the popular show will take place at Morrisons in Plymstock on Sunday, November 10.

Between 9am and 4pm, anyone who thinks they have what it takes to become a global star can come to the store on Pomphlett Road and have their performance filmed by the Britain’s Got Talent crew.

Successful acts will go through to the next round of auditions and perform live in front of the Britain’s Got Talent judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams next year.

Budding superstars might find themselves following in the footsteps of Richard and Adam, the opera singing brothers who auditioned at a Morrisons store last series and achieved third place, followed by a number one album.

Darren Westcott, store general manager at Morrisons in Plymstock said: “We’re looking forward to finding out which of our customers have secret talents. Whether you can sing, dance or juggle we’d love to see you at the store on audition day and who knows, we might even get the chance to watch some local talent at the televised auditions.”

Well, I've got to hand it to our beloved Commandante, Herr Tudor, all that City of Culture stuff has paid off. BGT will keep the Proles happy - does Hughie Green still do it? Actually, I'm a bit peed off, how did @not_me get "fart" past this rag's filter.

I go to that Morrisons store Sunday's for my weekly shop. Think I'll give it a miss this week. And there was me thinking they were trying to attract customers.
