The body of an Exeter man was recovered from the River Exe yesterday.
The 79-year-old man, who has not yet been named, is believed to have gone into the water at Countess Wear and was pulled from the river around an hour later at Topsham.
Police say they are not treating the death as suspicious. The coroner has been informed and a post mortem is expected to take place this week.
