Bideford and Barnstaple Town to meet in football friendly

DERBY GOAL: Eugenio Da Veiga scores for Barnstaple Town in a 3-2 win over Bideford in 2010, the last time the rivals met in a competitive match.

BIDEFORD and Barnstaple Town are to meet in a friendly tomorrow evening.
The match will be played at Bideford's Sports Ground, kicking off at 7.30pm, with an entry fee of £2 for spectators.
The North Devon rivals met in a pre-season game at Mill Road in July when Bideford won 5-2.
They have not played each other in a competitive match since Bideford were promoted from the Toolstation Western League in the 2009-10 season.
Their last league meeting was on Good Friday, April 2, 2010, when Barnstaple won 3-2 at Mill Road with goals from Shane Tolley, Eugenio Da Veiga and Stan Paxton, who hit an 81st-minute winner. Bideford's goals came from Nick Barker and Ellis Laight.
