Philleigh Way cookery school is a real family affair, run by brothers-in-law James Martin and chef George Pascoe who belongs to the fifth generation of Pascoes to hail from Court Farm in Philleigh.
Their farmhouse cookery style is inspired by recipes handed down over the generations, fantastic local produce and experience gained working in some of the top kitchens in Cornwall and around the globe.
James was a property lawyer until giving it up two years ago when the school opened at the family farm on the Roseland Peninsula. It’s all done in a rustic style, but the equipment is the very latest. Courses include Cornwall in a day, a Kernow Sausage masterclass, bread, classic farmhouse cookery, fish and foraging with Three Hungry Boys star Thom Hunt.
